perks and relevance

Websites:  I just found myself voluntarily creating a website for an assignment in another TL course, as I found it was the best vehicle for research access.  I would not have considered this without the collection assignment in this course.  I've put that one to the test (with some alterations) with my students and am just going through assessing their research and reflections based on using the site.  Interesting...and pretty successful.  Oh how interesting when the learning from one course feeds another, and more importantly feeds professional practice.
